Mayor’s charity quiz and chips evening

The Mayor of Torfaen, Councillor Giles Davies is hosting a charity quiz and chips night on Tuesday, 23rd February at 7pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Taking place at Pages fish bar in Cwmbran, entry fee is £7.50 per person which includes a fish and chip dinner and entry to the quiz. There is a maximum of 6 people per team. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A raffle will take place on the night and there will be prizes for the winning team. If you would like to enter a team, or to simply come along and join another team please contact Chris Slade on 01495 742578 or email chris.slade@torfaen.gov.uk. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

All proceeds of this charity event will go to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund, which is supporting the Alzheimer’s Society, British Heart Foundation, Llanerch Memorial Fund and Pancreatic Cancer UK. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
