Bangladeshi Students See The Work Of Welsh Schools
International students have been taking a look at the work of schools around Newport as part of their studies at University of South Wales (USW).
The International MA students – including MA Education (Innovation in Learning & Teaching) students sponsored by the Ministry of Primary Education in Bangladesh – are spending time in local schools as part of their course.
During the visit they were welcomed to Coed Eva Primary School by head teacher Gill Ellis to see the school Nativity Play, and made a number of visits to Pillgwenlly Primary School, under the guidance of head teacher Kath Bevan.
“The welcome our international students have received from staff and pupils in local schools has been tremendous,” said Dr Shirley Egley, Head of Professional Learning & Post-compulsory Education at USW.
“We all have so much to learn from each other. We are looking forward to developing this work through further international collaboration in the new year.”
