The Talent Call is the moment for Foam to gain insight into the current state of affairs in photography around the world. With an average of 1500 submissions from over 70 countries they have a clear insight into the new developments, trends and themes in contemporary photography. The editors of Foam Magazine select around 21 portfolios, and devote an issue of the magazine to these talented photographers. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“It’s really exciting that yet another of our graduates has gone on to see critical acclaim” commented Paul Reas, course leader for Documentary Photography. “As a course, we’re achieving awards and recognition on an international scale on a regular basis and this demonstrates the quality of our students work”. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

It’s not the first time Leo has seen success either. Leo is a BAFTA nominated filmmaker for his film Gypsy Blood ( shortlisted for Cinematography on Gypsy Blood at the 2012 Bafta Craft Awards) and has also been featured in the Guardian. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Documentary Photography is based in Cardiff, at the ATRiuM from September 2016. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
