Eirias To Host North Wales’ Largest Free, Family Fanzone!
Events Conwy have announced that they will be hosting North Wales’ largest free, family Fanzone for Euro’s Semi Final, Wales v Portugal on Wednesday evening (06/07/16).
Fans are invited to join together to support our boys at Eirias’ Eisteddfod Field. The event opens at 6pm ready for the 8pm kick off.
People can expect a free, family friendly environment topped off with some low key children’s entertainment and an impressive 50sq metre screen to watch the game.
No food and drink can be brought into the site, but concessions including alcohol sales will be available. Fans are warned the event will be tightly controlled and organisers are asking people to consider families and to drink responsibly.
The site is subject to the standard terms and conditions of Eirias Stadium, which can be found pinned at the top of Events Conwy’s Facebook page and fans will be allowed onto the field on a first come, first served basis until we’re full. Organisers have said to plan to get there early to avoid disappointment.
Conwy County Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Tourism, Marketing and Leisure, Cllr Graham Rees said: “It’s really exciting for Wales to be the only remaining home nation in the Euro’s and I’m really pleased we have been able to organise North Wales’ largest outdoor Fanzone. There has been unprecedented demand for this to happen and it’s been a real Team Conwy effort to make it happen.”
