Gocompare.Com Survey: Wrexham Glyndwr University In Top 10 Most Affordable Universities In The UK
Wrexham Glyndwr University has been named in the top 10 most affordable places to study in the UK.
The institution was ranked 8th best in the country for the overall cost of study in a survey by gocompare.com
Students studying at Wrexham Glyndwr University can expect to pay £16,864 a year for their studies and living costs, according to the price comparison website.
The Degree of Value survey ranked universities based on the price of nine different factors – tuition fees, university accommodation, and the cost of travel, socialising, books, food, clothes, gym and laundry.

The scores calculated by Go Compare also meant Wrexham Glyndwr University was named the second most affordable place to study in Wales.
According to the survey students studying in Wrexham can expect to pay £9,000 on tuition fees, £4,316 on halls, £432 on travel, £1,140 on socialising, £168 on books, £1,029 on food, £360 on clothes, £180 on gyms and £240 on laundry bills.
