Blaenau Ffestiniog: Appeal Following Serious Collision
Police investigating a serious collision which occurred on the A496 Tanygrisiau, Blaenau Ffestiniog, last night (Sunday, June 19) are appealing for information and witnesses.
At 11.11pm yesterday, officers were alerted by the Ambulance Service to a collision involving a black coloured VW Golf and a pedestrian on the A496.
The male pedestrian was taken by Ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor having sustained serious injuries. He was later transferred to Stoke Hospital where he remains.
Sergeant Tony Gatley of the Roads Policing Unit said: “Inquiries on-going and we are appealing to anyone who may have been in the vicinity at the time of the collision last night or who may have witnessed the incident to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference number U090300.”
