Appeal For Information After An RTC On The B4235, Llangwm

At approximately 3:00pm on Sunday 29th May 2016 a road traffic collision occurred on the B4235 near to Llangwm involving a single, red and black Yamaha R1 Motorcycle. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The rider, a 34 year old male from the Chepstow area, sustained serious injuries and is currently in a critical condition at the Royal Gwent Hospital. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The carriageway was closed for approximately 4 hours whilst officers conducted their investigations. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

At this time no arrests have been made, however officers are appealing for members of the public who may have been in the area at the time and have further information, to call 101 quoting log number 302 29/5/16. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
