Appealing For Information Following The Theft Of A Handbag

We’re appealing for information following the theft of a handbag. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

I woman in her 60s was walking along Heol Morien in Nelson at approximately 4.20pm on Sunday 12th February when she was approached by a man who stole her handbag. The woman was unharmed. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The man is described as being white, approximately 20 years old, of large build and average height. He was wearing a navy hooded jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms and a grey tartan scarf. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The bag was a small black leather shoulder bag with a black strap. It contained a black leather Office purse with white flowers on the front and inside was an iPhone 5C, cash and bank cards. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
