These three have all been sentenced today for Class A related drug offences.
Here’s their story….at approximately 11:30am on Tuesday 2nd August 2016, a search warrant was executed at an address in Broadmead Park in Newport.
Entry was forced to the property by officers and a search was made. Following this a significant quantity of the Class A Drugs were recovered, along with several mobile telephones, cash and other paraphernalia, such as scales, cling-film and two food processors.
All three persons were subsequently arrested and charged.
Today…
Liam Slade received a three year sentence.
Craig Hillman received a eighteen month sentence.
Channing Bale received a four and a half year sentence.
Detective Inspector Justin O’Keeffe who worked on the case said: ‘It is satisfying to see that these people who looked to profit from distributing drugs in our communities have been convicted and handed appropriate sentences. I would urge all members of the public who have information in respect of this type of criminality to come forward so that others who choose to blight our communities can be similarly dealt with.’
