Garage And Shed Breaks – Caerphilly
We’re appealing for information and reminding residents to secure their property following shed and garage breaks in the Caerphilly area.
A shed was broken into on Van Road overnight 21st – 22nd June. Nothing is believed to have been stolen. (log 58 22/06/16)
A garage was broken into on Bartlett Street overnight 22nd – 23rd June. Various tools were stolen. (log 71 23/06/16)
A garage was broken into on Van Road sometime between midnight and 7am on 24th June. Items stolen include a chainsaw, two bikes and a paddling pool. (log 102 24/06/16)
A break in was also attempted at another property on Van Road that night but fortunately no access was gained.
In addition to these we have received two reports of items being stolen from the gardens of properties in Trecenydd.
Between 10.20am and 2.50pm on 26th June two rotary washing lines were stolen from a garden on First Avenue (log 369 26/06/16) and sometime between 20th and 24th June a red Apollo adults mountain bike was stolen from the back garden of a property on West Avenue. (log 329 26/06/16).
Residents are reminded to ensure that sheds and garages are kept locked and secure at all times and that any items not in use are stored away securely and out of sight.
