James Frazer-Mann Sentenced For Cybercrime Offences
James Frazer-Mann from Barry in south Wales has received a four months sentence suspended for 12 months and 180 hours community of service at Cardiff Crown Court today (Monday 21st November).
Between 2013 and 2015 Frazer-Mann paid unidentified online third parties to commit Cybercrime Offences against several targets which often result in Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks against websites involved in the financial sector.
Officers from the Tarian Regional Cyber Crime Unit executed a search warrant and interviewed James Frazer-Mann in March 2015 with regards his activities online when he made significant admissions.
Appearing in Cardiff Crown Court on Friday 7th October 2016 Frazer-Mann pleaded guilty to five charges of intentionally encouraging or assisting the commission of an offence contrary to the Serious Crime Act 200.
