“As one of only two graphic designers in the company, I get a lot of free rein and control of the brand. Aside from the company branding, I work heavily on designer exhibition graphics for the business, which is a huge part of the business as they sell most of the product at conferences and networking events. I also do things like create showreels and brochures for the existing products. It’s great how varied it is,” Ryan said. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“I would say the course definitely helped me obtain a job in industry, because it’s a huge confidence booster, it gives you a lot more confidence in showing your work to clients. The briefs that they put you through touch on each part of graphics and more, and challenge you to think about the outcome intelligently as well as just solving the problem. All of the lecturers are amazing people also, all willing to help you in any way they can. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“In particular, the Design Management module was a massive confidence booster setting you up with an industry standard portfolio My advice would be to listen to the lecturers all the time, as them pushing you to reach to industry puts you a step ahead of everyone else and will help get you a job.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
