Abercrave And Seven Sisters Crews Attended RTC On A4067, Abercrave
On Thursday (02/06/2016) at 01:40pm crews from Abercrave and Pontardawe attended a road traffic collision involving three private motor vehicles on the A4067 road, Abercrave.
Fire crews released one male and one female from separate vehicles. The male was transferred to hospital by the Air Ambulance Crew and the female taken in a road Ambulance. The occupants of the third vehicle were released prior to the arrival of the fire service.
The road was closed by the Police.
The fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment, chocks and blocks, immediate emergency care pack, a hose reel jet and small gear at the scene.
The fire service left the incident at 02:55pm. The Police remained at the scene to conduct an investigation and to await the recovery of the vehicles.
