Ice Cream Van Overturned In Blaenymaes

On Thursday afternoon (30/06/2016) at 2.10pm crews from Morriston, Swansea Central and Swansea West attended a Road Traffic Collision on Penplas Road, Blaenymaes, Swansea. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The collision involved 1 commercial ice cream van overturned. 1 person was rescued from under the vehicle by firefighters using tirfor winch, airbags, edraulic spreaders and chocks and blocks. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Police and air and land ambulance were also in attendance. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Firefighters left the scene at 3.07pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
