Pumps From Morriston Swansea Attended Kitchen Fire At A Property In Centre Of Swansea

On Wednesday, June 1st 2016 04:20pm, two rescue pumps from Morriston and one from Swansea Central attended a kitchen fire at a property in the central area of Swansea. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The first floor flat of the property was well alight on arrival. Crews extinguished the fire using four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, two thermal imaging cameras, one safety jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Police and a Fire Investigation Officer were in attendance. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The incident is currently being investigated. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
